Preparing for Fashion Show – Friday at SD Latino Film Festival

IMG_0319

Friday evening, we met with the San Diego Latino Film Festival event planner, Pilar Kuri, to review the script and do a walk through of the stage. We met outside the AMC 18 Movie Theater at Fashion Valley where the Film Festival was being held. While we were there, we greeted some attendees and I couldn’t resist taking a picture of this cute family that was at the Festival. The baby must be the youngest attendee at the Festival! After saying our hellos, we headed to the Macy’s courtyard area where the Fashion Show stage was already set-up. The music producer, Saul Silva, also joined us for the walk through. As emcee, it is always helpful to see the event location ahead of time, and if possible, walk on the stage, and do a sound check. I am glad we had this opportunity.

As we were finalizing the walk through, our friend, Zeji Ozeri, stopped by to say hi. We all ended up going to dinner together at Stacked, right there at Fashion Valley mall. I hadn’t eaten there before, the food is tasty! Pilar and I shared an artichoke dip, we were able to review the script and runway show further….and after that, we enjoyed dinner and a few laughs with friends!

It was a nice evening with friends and made me feel more prepared for Saturday’s Fashion Show. Below are some pics from our Friday evening at the San Diego Latino Film Festival.

I’ll post pictures of the Fashion Show and Closing Night Party next. We took so many beautiful pictures that it is taking me time to sort through them and select which one’s to post.

Did you attend the Festival? Did you attend the Fashion Show? I’d love to hear from you and see your pictures!

Hugs,

Paola

In case you missed these, here are links to the posts with pictures from the Festival’s Opening Night and the Media Kick-off Party, which were both delightful!
