Every summer it seems I unconsciously choose a favorite dress and wear it over and over…and over again. This summer, it is this stripped dress from Nordstrom Rack. Even though I have other dresses in the closet, I seem to gravitate towards this one time and time again. I had to stop myself from wearing it for my birthday gathering at home, but surrendered to it and wore the dress for dinner out on my actual birthday with my hubby and mom. The dress It is soft, loose-fitting, comfortable, and I like how it falls on my body. The skirt is long and has a little flow to it. The length makes it easy to wear around my nephews, so I can sit on the floor and play with them. I have worn it alone, and with different casual jackets, summer pashminas, and panama hat. The diagonal lines flatter any figure, which is always a plus. For my birthday dinner, I wore it with black Cathy Jean wedge espadrilles and silver accessories. I am certain I will wear this dress a few…or multiple more times this summer….and probably into the fall. Do you have a favorite summer dress or outfit?
