The feeling of a white button-down blouse always makes me feel classic and sleek. Styling it with a pair of jeans and I have a timeless look. Add a contrasting belt, some trendy accessories and heals, and you create a stylish look. For a more casual look, I will wear ballerina flats or platform shoes. In my closet, I have multiple white button-down blouses, but I don’t wear all of them as often as I could…or should. Wondering why? I have a confession to make, I don’t like to iron. For the most part I buy clothes that will not require ironing. The few pieces that do require ironing, I send to the cleaners or reluctantly iron at home. Sometimes, I’ll try to use my husband’s steam iron machine first or place the clothes in his pant press, but these doesn’t get wrinkles out of cotton as well as a regular iron. If I am in a hurry, I will skip past the blouses that require ironing, hence why those don’t get worn as often. Nowadays, there are cotton blends and soft polyester materials which look silky, and come out wrinkle-free from the dryer. These are my favorite!

This white sheer blouse was a gift from Lola. It is made of a polyester/cotton blend material which has an all over crinkle texture and does not require ironing. It is perfect for me! It reminds me of a linen blend, minus the wrinkles in linen. Because this blouse is easy to care for and can be washed at home, I will be wearing it often this summer! Thank you Lola!
