Wondering what to do this weekend? Here’a a list of some of the top events (& a movie) happening in San Diego this weekend & in the coming days!   • EARTH FAIR AT BALBOA PARK: Sun, April 22, 10:00am-5:00pm. The largest free environmental fair in the world, with more than 300 exhibitor booths, parade, and activities for the entire family. Admission is free. 
  • EARTH DAY CELEBRATION AT CHILDREN’S NATURE RETREAT: Sun, April 22, 11:00am- 1:30pm (Earth Day Celebration hours; Retreat is Open 10:00am-7:00pm). Join the Retreat’s team for Salute to Mother Nature, festivities include Meet Sandy the Camel, Rock the Hunt Game, Rooster Crowing Contest, and Meet Oni – Sulcata Tortoise. $15 Child (ages 2-12), $25 adults (ages 13+), $20 seniors.
  • SEVEN SEAS FOOD FESTIVAL AT SEA WORLD: April 21-22 & 28-29, 10:00am – 7:00pm. Sip and sample your way around the world of international street food traditions, craft beers and wines, and enjoy live musical performances. Admission to Sea World $69.99 Single-Day Ticket (ages 3+), Fun Card $89.99 (adult) & $84.99 (ages 3-9), Food Festival Sampler Tasting $20-$65.
  • CORONADO FLOWER SHOW: April 21, 1:00pm-5:00pm; April 22, 10:00am – 4:00pm. Enjoy the largest tented flower show in the US, which includes landscape displays, floral competitions, educational lectures and demonstrations, live bandstand entertainment, food, beer & wine garden, and shopping. $5 Adlts (per day, Free for children (12 & younger).
  • CHICANO PARK DAY CELEBRATION: Sat, April 21,10:00am-5:00pm. The theme for the celebration is “Chicano Park: El Corazón de Aztlán. Visitors will experience traditional music and dance, performances by ballet folklórico groups and numerous live bands, lowrider car show coordinated by Amigos Car Club, vendor booths, kids arts workshop, and one of the largest groups of Aztec Indigenous dance, coordinated by Danza Azteca Calpulli Mexihca. Admission is free.
  • TEQUILA & TACO MUSIC FESTIVAL: April 21, 12:00pm-7:00pm; April 22, 12:00pm-6:30pm. Attendees can enjoy gourmet tacos, live music, margaritas, craft beer. Saturday will showcase top-shelf tequilas sampling. Sunday is Mas Margaritas, enjoy sipping on an assortment of Margaritas (there will not be tequila sampling on Sunday). At Embarcadero Park South. $60 Two Day Pass, $40 Saturday Tequila Sampling, General Admission $10.
  • PAW PATROL LIVE! RACE TO THE RESCUE: April 21,10:00am, 2:00pm & 6:00pm; April 22, 10:00am & 2:00pm. Enjoy a live performance of Nickelodeon’s PAW Patrol animated series which stars a pack of heroic rescue pups-Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Rubble, Zuma, Skye and the newest pup Everest-who are led by a tech-savvy boy named Ryder. At San Diego Civic Theatre. $14-124 (children age 1+ require a ticket), VIP Meet & Greet tickets available.
  • I FEEL PRETTY MOVIE: In theaters, Fri, April 20. The film stars Amu Schumer, Michelle Williams, Naomi Campbell, and Lauren Hutton. Comedy about an insecure woman who (Amy Schumer), after suffering a head injury, suddenly thinks she is the most beautiful woman in the world.
  • HEALTHY KIDS DAY AT THE Y: Sat, April 21, event times vary by participating Y location, between 9:00am-1:00pm. Free, family-fun events at select YMCA branches around San Diego County. Enjoy fun activities, prizes, interactive games and music. Admission is free.  
  • TROPICAL LUAU OPEN HOUSE AT NOWAK AESTHETICS: Tue, April 24, 1:00pm-7:00pm. Attendees will learn about the latest cosmetic treatments available, laser, and body sculpting, there will be demonstrations, raffles, prizes, special promotions, and a New Beauty Autograph Signing with Dr. Eugene Nowak. Free to attend, RSVP required, call 619-779-7416 to RSVP.
