The Best Summer Hat for Travel & Daily Use

IMG_8441

Summer is here! This means sunny days, walks outside, visits to parks, parties outdoors, barbecues, and vacations. I have somewhat sensitive skin and started noticing some dark spots on my skin in the past few years. I have always been aware of wearing sunblock regularly and hats when out in the sun. It was challenging to wear hats at outdoor events when I was working at Continue reading

Tips for Visiting Disney Parks with Children

IMG_7223

When I think Disneyland, I think “magical”! That is the first word which comes to mind. I have fond memories of going to Disneyland as a child and then as a teenager, and later on with my nieces when they were little. I also had the opportunity to work with the Disney team Continue reading

Let All That You Do Be Done With Love – 1 Corinthians 16:14

I saw this little chef statue next to a coffee shop. The verse made me reflect on how I often say, “If you are going to do something, do it well” (I say it mostly in Spanish). I don’t know where I learned this quote, perhaps from my maternal grandmother. In writing this post I searched on Google for the quote and couldn’t find it. I did find a similar quote from Walt Disney, see that one Continue reading

Since I write posts for this series on Friday’s, the week for these posts kind of begins on Saturday or perhaps Sunday. This week was busy, as they mostly all are, but I did get an opportunity to enjoy visiting a neighbor on Saturday (see note from that outing here) and we went on a family outing on Sunday. Alessandra was filled with joy during Continue reading

Snack of the Week: Tasty Healthy Chip

This Week’s Snack is a Multigrain Tortilla Chip. It is tasty, has healthy ingredients & is low in sodium. It is a healthy replacement for potato or tortilla chips, and this chip actually tastes delicious! I have been snacking on these for the past three weeks & am pretty much obsessed with them. I also like that I can feed some to Alessandra as a snack or with a meal (just a few though because they have fiber & she’s still a toddler). I even shared them with guests and they liked them too! Watch video for more & to find out where you can find these. Thanks for watching! If you like this video, please Like it & Subscribe to my Youtube channel to receive  Continue reading

Now that I am a mom, I still wear lipstick, but if I am going to be working from home all day, I will likely only wear chap stick. If I go out or we have company coming over, I will wear lipstick, but don’t bother to re-apply it often because I don’t Continue reading

Awesome Hotel I’d Stay At Again: JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa

We visit Las Vegas a few times per year. Our trips vary, from business to simple leisure, but I always try to add some fun outings to our trips. Quick Remedy For Sore Feet

IMG_6030

Heels are a staple in my closet. I love wearing them, and my feet have gotten pretty good about standing and walking in them for hours. For certain speaking engagements and when I host events, I will stand on my feet for up to six or eight hours. It can take a toll on my feet. I have a handful of Continue reading

Favorite Leather Sandals

Every spring & summer, I seem to choose a favorite pair of sandals which I wear multiple times every week. This year it was these Zigi Girl black sandals which I am continuing to wear into the end of September because the weather has been quite warm. Over the years, I have learned to purchase shoes and sandals that are not only stylish, but Continue reading
